Il MOBA è l'unico museo al mondo dedicato alle brutte arti. Si trova nel Massachusetts, ed è stato fondato il 30 ottobre 1995: anche la data vicina ad Halloween, probabilmente non è casuale...! Oltre 250 opere sono esposte nella galleria permanente, mentre saltuariamente da 20 a 25 opere sono ospitate per mostre temporanee. I (capo)lavori, "troppo brutti per essere ignorati", sono suddivisi in tre categorie: ritratti, paesaggi e forze mai viste.
